Bookmarks and Browsing History

  • How do I delete/edit my bookmarks?

    • After Launching Dolphin Browser, please click “+” plus tab, then access Bookmarks list page ( little star icon). Then holding on the bookmark you want to delete/edit will come out a menu, choose “Delete/Edit Bookmark”. Everything is done!

  • How do I delete all/sort/sync my bookmarks?

    • After Launching Dolphin Browser, please click “+” plus tab, then access Bookmarks list page ( little star icon). Then Pls click Menu->delete all/sync/import/label/sort

  • How do I create shortcut of my bookmarks to home?

    • After Launching Dolphin Browser, please click “+” plus tab, then access Bookmarks list page ( little star icon). Then  holding on the bookmark you want to create shortcut will come out a menu, choose “Add shortcut to Home”. Everything is done!

  • How do I access my browsing history?

    • After Launching Dolphin Browser, please click “+” plus tab, then access Most Visited list (little eye icon). Pls click Menu->History->done.

  • How do I clear my browsing history?

    • After Launching Dolphin Browser, please click “+” plus tab, then access Most Visited list (little eye icon) . Pls click Menu->History->Menu->Clear History->done.

Internet Search Experience

  • How do I hide address bar and tab bar to get full screen browsing experience?

    • After Launching Dolphin Browser, pls double click the screen so that you can get full screen browsing experience.

  • How do I change user agent (Desktop mode, Android mode, iPhone mode)?

    • After launching Dolphin Browser, pls click Menu->Settings ->User Agent ->Desktop/Android/iPhone ->Done.

  • How do I get the GWT view while browsing?

    • After launching Dolphin Browser, pls click Menu->Compact page->Done.

  • How do I open a new tab?

    • After launching Dolphin Browser, click the plus “+” icon on the top right corner Or use our gesture, draw “N” to open a new tab.

  • How do I reset homepage?

    • After launching Dolphin Browser, pls click Menu->Settings ->System Settings ->Set home page ->Done.

  • How Do I turn off volume button to scrolling?

    • After launching Dolphin Browser, pls click Menu->Settings ->uncheck the “Use volume button to scroll”->done.

  • How do I get Dolphin Browser theme?

    • You can just download it from Android Market. or you can get more themes by clicking Menu->Settings->Theme Settings->Get more theme->choose the one you want.

  • How do I apply Dolphin Browser theme?

    • After launching Dolphin Browser, pls click Menu->Settings->Theme Settings->choose the right one you want->done.

Gesture

  • How do I hide the gesture icon?/How do I change the location of gesture button?

    • After launching Dolphin Browser, pls click Menu->Settings->Gesture Settings->Gesture Button position->choose Hide/Left Bottom/Right Bottom.

  • How do I create a gesture?

    • After launching Dolphin Browser, pls click Menu->Settings->Gesture Settings->Create a gesture->choose the action you want->Draw a sign->done. Or you can get a demo video to teach you how.

  • Why the browser did the wrong action when I draw a gesture?

    • Please keep in mind that you’d better finish a sign with one stroke, and make it dramatically different from other signs as possible as you can. We promise that we will enhance this feature later on.

Privacy and Security

  • How do I open a private tab (private browsing)?

    • After launching Dolphin Browser, pls click Menu->Settings->Private browsing->done.

  • How do I clear passwords?

    • After launching Dolphin Browser, pls click Menu->Settings->System Settings->Clear passwords->done.

Other

  • How do I copy/paste?/where is the clipboard?

    • To copy text, please Go Menu->Select Text ->done.

    To copy URL, please hold on the address you want to copy, and then a menu will come out, choose “copy all” ->done.

    To Paste, you can hold on the textbox where you want to paste the text in, a menu will come out,  choose “paste” ->done.
