  3. Michael Hazell says:

I really like your browser. Any word on adding SVG graphics support? Your browser is already very standards compliant, but the only thing I can’t do is view SVG images.

  4. jon_dojah says:

OK my Galaxy Tab 10.1 FINALLY got updated to Ice Cream Sandwich!! I love it except now Dolphin Browser no longer plays videos. When I go to youtube or other sites that have video, it won’t play and shows in icon that looks like a Lego block with a “?” in the middle. I reupdated Adobe AIR/Flash from the Play Store and still doesnt work. Stock Android browser plays videos fine as well as the Youtube app. Please help. What can I do to get video playing again through DOlphin?

  5. Nik says:

    Hi there,
new page for tablets is awesome.
    Thanks
Dolphin is the best browser out there, better than any other on iOS and Android!

  6. Steve says:

Hi, as written in my first post I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S2, Android 4.0.4 and the latest dolphin beta.
    Thanks

  7. abdou says:

Can i download files from dolphin with “va high speed downloader pro” like what we do with “easy downloader pro” plugin? If its not possible can you fix it in the next version or in the dolphin beta version? And could you add a flash and web video download features on dolphin?

    • Dolphin Browser says:

Sorry, all files will be downloaded via Dolphin by default. You can’t use 3rd apps to download them within the browser.
If you want to download files in other apps, you can try the following way:
      1. Copy the file link in Dolphin
      2. Post it on a 3rd party download app
      3. Create a new download task in the app

  8. csk213 says:

Using 8.8.1. in my galaxy y 2.3.6. Why it is not having mobile browsing mode of non-mobile sites as in uc.

  9. csk213 says:

Using 8.8.1 . It works well on android x86 4.0.4. and 2.2.2. installed on acer d250. No prob till now. Very fast and stable in 2.2.2.

  10. KaZo says:

Hi again. My RAZR is running 4.0.4 OTA.

  11. Steve says:

Yes I enabled clearing the cache, history and cookies on exit. I still keep logged on to Facebook when I exit the browser.

  12. Steve says:

    Hi!
All together a superb browser, just one important issue. The clear data on exit does not work properly. E.g. when I log into Facebook, exit dolphin and open it again a bit later, I’m still logged on to Facebook. Please fix this as this is an important privacy issue.
    Dolphin 8.8, Ics 4.0.4, sgs2

  13. KaZo says:

Hi. Ever since the newest two updates Dolphin browser had acted very strangely on my RAZR. Hitting the menu button to bring up the address bar either freezes up the browser, or drops down a black piece of screen where the address bar usually is. If the first, pressing home makes it seemingly unfreeze, but on reentry it is still frozen and i have to kill the app to fix. If the second, i can still type an address but i cannot see it.

The browser also takes an unacceptably long time to load, even without the splash screen.

I love this browser. Please fix it!

  14. Jon Dojah says:

Also i still get a ton of crashes and freezes. It was not very common before the last 2 updates. Im on galaxy tab 10.1

  15. Jon Dojah says:

With the hotfix last night now i’m unable to delete then hot apps box on the start page. I was able to do it when the big update came out earlier this week. Please make it so i can get rid of it as its pushing some of my other favorites further down the page and i have to scroll down now to get to them.

  16. Adam M says:

Hotfix 8.8.1 installed and everything is tickedy-boo again. Thanks.

  17. nasir says:

Hi, it wonderful.i like it very much.but i want one collum to view web content like opera mobile. I hope next version of it will solve this problem.

  18. matt says:

So glad that you let us turn off search suggestions from bookmarks and history! best thing you did since forcing it in 5.0!

  19. Robin says:

This is not a big deal, but typos and spellos detract from professionalism and make text difficult to read. Please proofread, thanks.

  20. Adam M says:

Sad times. I get a black screen and frozen phone (Samsung galaxy s2) nearly every other startup of dolphin.

  21. norkle says:

Sadly have to agree with others. After being a long time Dolphin HD user (and recently having decided to sick with it over Chrome on ICS), 8.8 ends up causing problems with tabs and closing.

I first notice problem when opening a new tab and trying to use my virtual keyboard (Swype), but URL bar doesn’t display. From this point trying to quit Dolphin doesn’t work- screen dims but won’t quit. Have to kill Dolphin (that comment might set Greenpeace on me) to restart.

    Galaxy S2 (international) 4.0.3

  22. peterw says:

Been using Dolphin HD for years. Great browser. Latest update delays when starting up, has problems when inputing text and drains battery while phone is on standby. Going to Chrome untill problems are fixed. Using Samsung Note.

  23. jon_dojah says:

I’m getting alot more crashes than previous version…sometimes just after starting app

  24. tim says:

New version has made everything that was great about dolphin now suck. Tab window entries are invisible…especially evident in full screen mode. Scrolling is delayed. Very dissapointed! Set back. RZR android 4.0.4

  25. Ben says:

Latest version crashes on startup about one time in three. Samsung GT-I9000, 4.0.4 UK.

  26. Josh says:

I thought by now your browser would havearental control internet content filtering. It is very irresponsible to put out a browser which is not safe for kids. Please do something about this.

    Thanks

    • Dolphin Browser says:

      Thanks Josh.
      I’ll pass your request along.

    • Eva says:

Kristen: it all is in good funAnyone with any sense knows that you cannot tell a peosrn’s peosrnality by the browser they use, computer they use, car they drive, etc.. This is therefor considered a joke or a lampoon. Pres. Clinton probably kept his johnson in his pants more often than not and Pes. Bush is probably not as dumb as he comes off in his speeches but people will exaggerate and overstate the things that they do. This is part of lampooning. Relax, no one is directly making fun of you or anyone else. It is good hearted ribbing. Relaxing will also help you as a mother, friend, partner and peosrn. I would venture to say that a large portion of the people you meet on this and other Blogs are parents, friends and spouses, just like you. Some of us might know a little more about computing about you simply because it interests us more than you. One thing you might want to do is try something new. Download the firefox or opera browser. You might like them. People here and on other weblogs would help you without a second thougt. You won’t break your computer. You might have fun! Good luck and thank you for being a good parent, we need need as many as we can get. a0|a0

  27. Caio says:

I would like to report a bug. My phone has a physical keyboard and when I go to enter a website address the first letter typed with the physical keyboard stay selected and then the second letter typed replaces the first (because the first was selected) and the website address stay wrong. With the virtual keyboard it does not happen. I have the last update. Thanks

  28. بنت روز says:

    Google

  29. rooter says:

Thanks for all. I have a problem on Cyanogenmod though. Dolphin 8.8 crashes right after starting when it doesn’t have the GPS-Location permission. It worked up until the last version. Please let me disable that permission in CM App settings and still be able to run Dolphin. I don’t want it to get my location. And there’s no reason for me to trust the in-browser setting.
