Dolphin is proud to present v3.5 for iPhone, now available on the App Store. Dolphin v3.5 for iPhone comes equipped with full screen mode and screen orientation lock to give you the best browsing experience.
Now we can’t help hang that shelf in the garage for you but we do what we can. And with this update Dolphin brings a couple of key improvements that makes everything just plain easier.
Sometimes you just need to see the big picture. While Dolphin tabs are functional they can take up prime real estate so now with a simple click of a button (on your right sidebar) you expand to full screen mode.
2. Screen Orientation Lock
Never again have to deal with the constantly adjusting screen nor perching half way up on an arm while browsing in bed. Now with screen orientation lock, you can lock the screen no matter which way you are lying, sitting or hanging.
In honor of this new feature, we have coined the new meme sweeping the nation … blanking. We know you love planking but have you tried blanking? Browsing while planking?
Now you can sync your favorite bookmarks across all your devices by logging in with Facebook. Tiny keypads on Smartphones can be tough, so now Dolphin Connect lets you login with your Facebook or Google ID.

. Dolphin’s pretty much the browser I’m looking for because of its gesture features and its ability to play youtube vids or at least access mobile youtube and actually be able to change the video quality (connection’s crap so, yeah I’m grateful for this feature ._.). The only thing that’s missing is he “saved pages” feature like that of Opera Mini’s, as I said, connection’s crap and 3G is non existent in here, so I’d like to access webpages that I’ve saved beforehand like fanfictions or GameFAQs, etc,
Hi, the new update added the space bar, but removed the url keyboard!!
Could you please, please bring back the old feature of having two keyboard tabs: URL/Default? This makes the browser much more functional.
It varies between a few hours or a few minutes. Sometimes they disappear and sometimes they don’t. But it happens several times a day. I suspect it’s to do with low memory.
I’m on iPhone 4 with latest iOS version.
Please bring back the option to switch between URL and default keyboard ASAP! Also, do away with the idiot who proposed to remove it as an “enhancement”!!

Yikes. I love the full screen mode and other layout improvements, but the elimination of the standard keyboard can only have been a mistake. Please resolve so I can restore dolphin to the position of primary browser on my iPhone. Thanks!

Any way to make it not to keep losing opened tabs while in the background? I thought in ios5 state of apps was supposed to be saved. But for some reason dolphin will often lose the tabs I had open.

I just wanted to thank Dolphin for making “EVERYTHING easier” by removing the space bar. What an ironic post. Please fire whoever made that idiotic decision.

Definitely was surprised that I couldnt create a gesture to toggle full screen mode, but glad to hear its being considered!
I’d like to see an extension for chrome bookmarks to sync. Or at least an import using the open in action if the HTML bookmarks file is opened on the iPhone. Until then, back to grazing browser. Still waiting on JavaScript as well. I need to be able to use a mobilizer like readability or Instapaper.

Dont necessarily new the tab for the default keyboard back, just some way to use the space bar. Otherwise the smart address bar isn’t really that helpful. Thanks!
How are we supposed to make a two or more terms search from the navigation bar with no space key? Is there another method?

Yeah, I found this through googling and trying to find out what happened to the second keyboard layout. It’s impossible to search without going to Google first (not nice on 200 MB Plan). Thanks.

Latest update for me removed the Space key on the keyboard when I want to type in the URL box.
