  1. jim nava says:

Any chance of an fixing the known issue of scrolling problems. Dolphin mini has the same problem so does the new beta of 7.2 hd.

  2. sulligogs says:

Got a ZTE Blade with Dolphin Mini 2.2 and I seem to be the only one who has been having trouble authenticating their login with Google Bookmarks.

Everytime I try I get “login failed” through the Data Backup > Sync with Google Bookmarks.

  3. Jim says:

Bump again for any update. I now have the latest hd version of dolphin 7 and still same problems exist. You can not fill out the post a reply box on reuters.com because it will not scroll and still with google if you fill the search box it will not scroll left so you can see what your typing. On your hd 7 blog you are asking me to explain it again. That leads me to believe you can not fix this issue. I read more than one post and comment about this problem. Brand new dolphin 7.0 and you still haven’t addressed this issue that has been a complaint for several version. You just keep on doing the same old rhetoric asking the same old questions and giving the same old run around. If you can’t fix this just say so.

  4. Jim says:

I’ve tried HD version, yes it is little better in filling out txt / comment boxes but still has the same issue in google in not scrolling left. I also don’t like that the tabs disappear when scrolling. If I could somhow lock the tabs so they would show all the time like dolphin mini that would be great but I do not believe there is an option for that in HD. I really like dolphin mini’s look and feel, UI. I just would like to see dolphin address scrolling problems. Again its a great browser it just has some shortcomings that unfortunately are just very detrimental.

  5. Jim says:

Any update on txt box issues? Still can not fill out txt boxes properly, dose not scroll correctly. Also still can not fill out the google search bar because it wont scroll. Been using opera more and more really don’t like it but the scrolling issues with dolphin mini have become counterproductive, and a bit annoying.

  6. Jim says:

I’ll just stick here from now on.
I upgraded to droid 3 and still experiencing the same problems.
no scrolling when you fill the search bar in google.
no scrolling in reuters.com or motorola support forum
https://supportforums.motorola.com/message when you fillout the text box.

Dose not matter what user agent is set to, android desktop iphone or ipad all the same result.
    Droid 3
    android version 2.34
    kernel 2.6.35.7g
    build 5.5.1_84

Also happens in stock browser, as I said saw same complaints on market comments. Just would addressed. Have tried opera mini doesn’t have the problem, but compared to dolphins look and feel opera sucks.
By the way using dolphin mini 2.2

  7. Jim says:

I have answered everything you have asked and more than once. I have the emails I have the replys to emails. I have the txt messages. You ask me a, b, and c, I answer them then you ask me d and e, I answer them. Then you go right back to a, b and c, all over again. Please feel free to email a contact person and I’ll provide you with all of the above. Again over and over. I’ve answered those questions, I’ve given the droid version model number kernel versions build versions baseband versions etc and more than once. Does it happen in desktop mode yes it dose answered that around 8 or 9 times.

I just read verizon market reviews and I’m seeing the same problems that I repport. So again if you really want to try to address these issues give me a person I can talk to. I have the feeling I am dealing with more than one person and the new person doesn’t read the original responces and than ask me the same questions again…

Finally sorry for being upset here, but again being ask,
does it happen when you change the useragent to desk top?
    and I answer yes.
does it happen with the stock browser?
    and I answer yes

    Than another email
    and another set of questions
    and I answer them

    Then another email
does it hapen when you change the user agent to desktop?
dose it happen with the stock browser?

Again if you want proof of what i’m saying here i’ll send it to a specific person if im provided the email.

Like I said great look and feel to dolphin, and no it is not entirely dolphins fault that verizons / Motorolas gingerbread update screwed up things. But again when you answer the same questions numerous times it gets a little old.

  8. Jim says:

I have to change what I have said

Dolphin is “NOT” working on a solution they keep on asking me the same questions over and over again. Its almost laughable because they ask me questions I answer them two replys latter they ask me the same questions, again and again. Like Bill Murray’s Groundhog Day movie. I don’t think they have the ability to fix these problems, but instead of admiting it they prentend to be working on a solution then just ask the same questions over and over again…. So I’m stuck in a quantum loop with Bill Murray just repating the samething over and over and over again and again……

    • Dolphin Browser says:

Hi, we need to know as exactly as what your problem is, so we ask you those questions.
But it seems that you don’t answer our questions both in email and comments.
Hope you can answer them and help us out.
      Thanks!

  9. Jim says:

Dolphin is working on the non scrolling issue, shows how great they are.

To answer the questions Dolphin asked.
Yes it happens in Mobil and Desktop Modes, also tried iphone and ipad settings but no change.
Yes it is happening in the stock browser also.
No did not happen before gingerbread update.
    again thanks for the help…

  10. Jim says:

Great web browser But since the update to gingerbread on my droid 2 I have been having some issues.
1 When typing in the search box in google when you fill the search box it will not scroll to the left therefore you cannot see what you’re typing.
2 When Filling out a text box on reuters.com it becomes really buggy, won’t scroll, kosher becomes very buggy and jumps around sometimes.

Its a shame because I like dolphins look and feel (with froyo) I started using opera mini, its nowhere near as good as dolphin button on those 2 website it’s definitely not buggy. Really hope that dolphin comes out what an update soon.

    • Dolphin Browser says:

      Thanks for your feedback.
Does your problem happen in mobile view or desktop view?
Does your stock browser have this problem either?
Also, do you have these problem before updating to Gingerbread?

  11. hkb says:

You got your email wrong,i clicked on it to send you my feature request, kinda long, but it failed. Had to type all over again….please do check. :-)

  12. rbdigital says:

Wish the “back” button worked the same as in HD version : if pressed on last page of history for a tab, just close the tab instead of prompting to exit. Otherwise mini is great-

  13. Kempster says:

Can you consider adding a refresh button alongside the gesture and back/forward on-screen buttons ?

Or make Refresh an option on the long press menu (with Select Text, Gesture, …) ?

The browser is perfect otherwise !

  14. Liz says:

Is there any way to make Dolphin search by just typing, like on the native browser. Also, do you have to touch the gesture icon before doing a gesture, or is there a way to just do the gesture without the extra step. I’m coming from webos and it’s would be fantastic if the browser could do these things.

  15. Lloyd says:

I always end up coming back to dolphin mini. I’ve tried XScope, Boat, Skyfire, Firefox, Miren, Opera, as well as a few others. Dolphin mini is the best all-around browser on Android. A combination of speed, accurate rendering, cache to SD, easy navigation, as well as the perks of using gestures and other Dolphin add-ons and support. You will enjoy this app. Keep up the good work dolphin team.

  16. dr rick says:

The mobile version of this blog, with your own mini browser, doesn’t zoom at all – double tap or pinch – and sizes too big for the screen. Very irritating. (samsung galaxy apollo)

The non-mobile version works fine and is pretty readable by comparison.

    Haven’t experienced the problem elsewhere.

  17. Al says:

inverse black & while theme is highly interested!!

  18. Stanli says:

Is there a way to either keep the notification bar on fullscreen, or for the tabs and url bar to hide when scrolling like in Dolphin HD? I love the browser but this is the one thing missing. Keep up the good work!

  19. Arveen says:

I want to make an add on for dolphin, all versions, where is the documentation?

  20. silawidh says:

Former ver. is better. This ver. crashed first time I used. I have to reopen to be able to use. Pls. fix it.

  21. benderz says:

I use Dolphin Mini since many month, and your work is so amazing, so i try Dolphin HD to ;)

  22. jon214m says:

The best Browser ever! Thank You. Is it Possible if you could add LOCK TAB on next update. Thanks. 愛

  23. IsaacHuang says:

    Hi,I have some problem.
My htc hero can’t download and install Dolphin Mini V2.2.

    In desktop web Market.

    I saw
“This item cannot be installed in your device’s country.”

Dolphin Mini V2.2 cannot be installed in Taiwan?

If that is true, then I feel depressed…

  24. anon says:

Why does punch to zoom now force text reflow?! That’s the reason I used dolphin, because it kept the orignal formatting! Please bring back this option!

    • Dolphin Browser says:

      Is your phone HTC?
Only HTC devices will let the text reflow after pinching zoom.

      • anon says:

It is yeah, but it never happened before this update! I used to double tap for text reflow, any suggestions?

        • Dolphin Browser says:

This is a bug on HTC devices in previous version of Dolphin Mini.
Now, we have fixed it in the new version.

          • anon says:

Is there a way of getting back the previous version? I loved the mini browser before!!

          • anon says:

Is it at all possible to get the “buggy” zoom back as an option? The reflow on htc phones is so jerky and I really loved that mini could keep the normal formatting. Dolphin hd has this option but the browser is heavier to run.

Love the way you give real time feedback to users by the way!

          • Dolphin Browser says:

Sorry, usually we don’t revert back to previous version.
And maybe you could find the previous version in some third markets.

        • anon says:

Its not really a revert; it would be offering the same experience across all handsets. You already have the ability to make the browser do this; would it not be possible to give users the choice?

  25. yns says:

    Keep updating dude!

    coolest browser in android

  26. benderz says:

    Thanks for the update!
    Nice logo ;)
And as usual, thanks for your work. Dolphin is the best browser for mobile device!

  27. Andy says:

  28. 이나영 says:

  29. Adien says:

  30. vtisg says:
