  2. Shawn says:

    Hi there,
I just tried to use Webzine for the first time. I have no problem with scrolling the articles list up and down, and while viewing an article I can scroll left and right to other articles, but I cannot scroll vertically to actually read the article…
I have tried clearing all chache, uninstalling, restarting my phone, so far nothing helped.

Motorola Defy running CM7. I have no other bugs or bad symptoms with Dolphin.

    Cheers, Shawn.

  3. Maarten says:

Yes, exactly. I didn’t have too many so I don’t really mind but it’s rather strange.

  4. maarten says:

somehow the 6.1 update deleted my bookmarks. Galaxy S2.

with 6.1 when i want to save the image im currently viewing, why doesnt just copy it over from cache instead of downloading it again?

  8. Eatpepsi says:

I just can’t select text…as I usually do after touching the text for a while…only happens on face book

  9. unhappy says:

Would be good if you changed the behaviour when clicking in the address bar of a previously opened tab.

Currently it is cumbersome to re-use a tab for a new search:

Clicking on the address bar at first highlights all characters, but then immediately goes back to an insertion mode. Then for some reason, in your browser only, you cannot easily select all the text in the address bar (e.g. double/triple or long tap), so you have to manually re-highlight the entire existing contents of the address bar and delete it before you type in the new search term.

Would be much easier if you made it work like other browsers – i.e. click on address bar = highlight all text and allow me to over type a new search term.

  10. Eatpepsi says:

    No problem on stock browser…

  11. Eatpepsi says:

    Froyo stock
    Htc legend
    Swype version 3
Unable to select text to copy on facebook…only on facebook..otherwise the select text and copy seem to work just fine…

  12. kc1 says:

Great, but when are you going to fix the location identification problem. Anytime anyone enters a search it defaults to google.COM. no matter what your location is.

Your answer here: http://dolphin-browser.com/faq/ ” Pls try change the location of your phone” is not helpful at all – what are you suggesting? Move to the US?

  13. Park says:

I am having some pinch to zoom issues with dolphin 6.1 on the incredible running 2.2 sense. It is being unresponsive at times. It tends to happen once I zoom in once, and then zooming in and out with pinch to zoom doesn’t work anymore.

  14. matt says:

Sticking with 4.6 until a couple of annoyances are addressed…

    1. The webzine button takes up 1/3 the address bar. Tried it, don’t like it, and it’s WAY too easy to misclick. Let me turn it off permanently.

    2. When typing in the address bar, suggestions from my bookmarks show up, obscuring the page I’m on. Can’t find a way to turn this off either. (Ever since 5.0)

And as a minor issue, the black and green looks way better, but maybe that’s a subconscious thing cause the white came in with v5, which I hate for the aforementioned reason.

  15. Jose says:

Im getting constant crashes with 6.1 on any page, im on samsung galaxy S, with froyo 2.2.

I downgraded again to beta 6.1 and crashes dissapear, something is wrong for me.

With mini 2.2 dont crash too.

  16. mnazri says:

I’m facing random crash to homescreen. It’s kinda annoying. I wish there will be last opened tabs/session feature on future release. running Asus TF101 HC3.2 with PRIME! 1.7 here.

  17. Oliver says:

Oliver, you’re talking about Google instant. It’s not a bug…it’s how Google works now. Have you not searched on their non-mobile site in like a year or something?

  19. Douglas says:

Can we have a wish list, an android browser that will function properly in Ogame.us gaming and similar sites. As these browsers stand so far, for me at least, I always seem to get logged out when selecting a gaming function.

Otherwise, Mini works well for me.

    Cheers

  22. piper says:

im having a lot of bugs on the Droid X since the update with the keyboard disappearing and typing in google search bar it jumps to the top after I type in the first letter and then is painfully slow. Also having.g problems with typing…it will end the word early, auto correct it and place a period after even tho I am still typing.
is there a way I can go back to the previous version..
or are you working on a fix? it is pretty much unusable s
    as it is.

    • Dolphin Browser says:

      Which keyboard are you using?
And you mean the keyboard will not react sometimes when you are still typing?
Does it usually happen on which site?
Btw, what is your android system?

  24. Oliver says:

The page loading lag has improved greatly with latest updates. However, it seems that I am now having problems with Google. It begins the search as soon as the first letter is entered in the search bar. So I type in the first letter, wait for search page to load, then have to modify the search. Im on an HTV Thunderbolt

I am still hoping for webzine as an add-on our extra app. or maybe an option in settings to fully disable it. text input with swype still sucks.

So, if I used the beta of 6.1, do I need to uninstall and load the market version? Or is it the same one?

I hope there will be an adblocker soon.
To me the webzine function is kind of useless.
