This is by far the best browser i hv used lately that doesnt have any compromises. Although i would like to report a few bugs if i may:
1. Double tap to zoom doesnt work on my HTC legend running 2.2.1 and neither on my frns milestone.
2. Could you please add the flash on demand feature, so that we can turn it off when we dont need it.

Just downloaded the preview version to my Samsung Behold 2 running Android 1.6 Donut. Looks good but when I try and open a new tab, either by Gesture or Plus sign the browser closes. Also, will the bookmark import/export add-on work with this version when it is released?
Unfortunately until the new tab bug is fixed I will have to uninstall and go back to the old version.

It seems I cannot get out of full screen mode with gesture, and the there’s a typo in the tip – it should be “toggle” instead of “toggel”…

I really love the new Dolphin Browser (preview). It’s much faster than the HD version and it’s very smooth with the menus and UI. One thing I would definitely request is some way to organize the bookmarks including sorting + folders.

Two issues:
1. I like that Dolphin HD remembers your fullscreen setting. It is nice to not have to set it every time.
2. When trying to authenticate and submit to the terms and conditions of the local wireless network, this version wont process the webpage that I always get a prompt of “webpage has errors: continue, cancel, exit” prompt.
Otherwise I like the browser a lot. Clean and brief just as advertised.

This is the new version of Dolphin Browser, not the Dolphin Browser HD.
I’m I missing something? I can’t get to my add ons. Sliding sideways does not work, and I don’t see them in any drop down menus.

I do like it, but I perfer choice in settings, and at this point HD offers more choice =). One thing I do wish was in all your browsers was a google search toolbar next to the address bar (that can be turned off in the settings of course) like the one in Opera. That would take your browser from the top of the pack to years ahead of your competition in my opinion. Im fairly sure there’s no addon for that but Ill look again for it just in case.

I really like the new version. The new UI is beautiful and also very responsive. It works much better on my htc hero than every other version before (especially dolphin hd, but I think that’s because of my limited cpu power).
The only thing I’m missing is a quick way to switch between normal- and fullscreen mode (double tap?). Pushing the menu button each time is not that good.
Beside this very little complain it’s great – dolphin is moving in the right direction. Thank you very much for the preview.

It’s user friendly. Nd has better brousing experiencethan any. But one drawback is page is extendingbeyond screen size

The new UI is gorgeous but did we loose the swipe sidebars? The slide-in bookmarks were one of my favorite features.
